Obituary: Sophie Cicirka Radziunas, 96, of Branford
She was a member of the Lithuanian Sisters, and was an amazing woman who loved to visit with and cook for her family.

Sophie Cicirka Radziunas of Branford, died Friday June 3, 2016 at the Hospital of St. Raphael Campus, YNHH. She was the wife if the late Frank Radziunas.
Mrs. Radziunas was born April 9, 1920, daughter of the late Frank and Antoinette Daknis Cicirka. She was the office manager for Federal Textile, later Leasetex until retiring.

She was a member of the Lithuanian Sisters, and was an amazing woman who loved to visit with and cook for her family. She also loved to knit and crochet. She was a NY Yankee fan, and was much loved and will be greatly missed.
Sophie is survived by her children, Diane (Dan) Reynolds, and Paul and (Debby) Radziunas, all of Guilford; a sister, Helen Bohan of SC, 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Frank Radziunas, Jr.

Friends may call Wednesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Branford.
