Obituary: Sophie Struzinski of Branford

Sophie Struzinski of Branford passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 12, 2018. She was the wife of the late Joseph Struzinski. Mrs. Struzinski was born in Branford May 15, 1915, daughter of the late, Joseph and Marcella Kurpaski Dzwonkoski.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Anthony (Stephanie) Bozzuto of North Branford, Michael (Donna) Bozzuto of Branford and Laurie Bozzuto of Branford, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her children, Phyllis Bozzuto, Marion Struzinski and Joseph “Sonny” Struzinski.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab-Guilford and Season’s Hospice for the exceptional care given to Sophie. Their never ending smiles, hugs and kisses did not go unnoticed as we saw the twinkle in her eye many times as you took care of her daily needs.
