Obituary: Stephanie Z. Ammann, 84, of Branford
A CT social services department investigator for decades, she was a travel agent in Guilford prior and a Branford Historical Society member.

Stephanie Z. Ammann of Branford died Thursday July 22, 2021 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Ammann. Stephanie was born October 30, 1936 in New Haven, daughter of the late John and Tessie Zacker Zvonkovic.
She worked as an investigator for the State of Connecticut DSS for 26 years before retiring. She had formerly worked as a travel agent with Partners-In-Travel in Guilford. She was a member of the Branford Historical Society.
Stephanie is survived by her children, Robert J. Ammann of New Haven, Elizabeth “Betsy” Smith of Branford, Christopher Ammann of Valrico, FL and Douglas Ammann of Branford; her sister, Jeanne Trojanoski of Guilford; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are private at the convenience of her family.
