Obituary: Susan Sirico, 96, of Branford
In her eighties Susan was delighted to be a volunteer in the kindergartens at Mary Tisko School in Branford.

Susan Sirico, 96, of Branford, CT, passed away on Wednesday December 12, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward Sirico. She was born August 15, 1922 in New Haven, a daughter of the late Pasquale and Anna Celotto. She was the devoted mother to Theresa and son-in-law Peter Baldino, the loving grandmother to Laura and Brian, and cherished great-grandmother to Nathan, Kurt, and Grace.
Susan was happiest when she was with her family and friends. She was very close to her late 16 brothers and sisters. She loved her nieces, nephews, family and friends dearly. Susan’s beautiful smile, kindness, and wonderful sense of humor always made others around her feel so warm and loved. Her amazing personality, selflessness and giving heart will be forever felt by the many lives she has touched over her 96 years.

She was an award-winning caterer in the greater New Haven area for 35 years, where she was known for her home-made hot stuffed peppers and manicotti. In her eighties Susan was delighted to be a volunteer in the kindergartens at Mary Tisko School in Branford.
She was a parishioner of St. Therese Church in Branford and a member of the American Legion Post 83 Auxiliary in Branford. She was also a volunteer at U. N. H. for (ESOL) English as a Second Language.

Her funeral will leave the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford Thursday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese Church at St. John Bosco Parish, 105 Leetes Island Rd., Branford at 10:00. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM.
