Obituary: Thang Van Bui of Branford
He was a pilot in the South Vietnam Air Force. He worked for the Metal Management Company in North Haven.

Thang Van Bui of Hoadley Road, Branford passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday August 21, 2018. He was the husband of Chi Huynh of Branford. He was the father of Khai Bui and his wife Christine, and Hoan Bui and his wife ThyVy, both of Branford. He was the younger brother of Dinh Bui and Bop Thi Thai, both of California.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Austin Bui, Brandon Bui, and Ethan Bui. Mr. Bui was born in Vietnam on March 12, 1941, a son of Da Bui and Thai Thi Van. He was a pilot in the South Vietnam Air Force. He worked for the Metal Management Company in North Haven for many years. He was a wonderful man, a devoted grandfather, and loved by all. He cherished spending time with his family and taking care of his grandchildren.A visitation will be held on Sunday from 12:00 - 3:00 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.

Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 A.M.
