Obituary: Thelma Churchwell Feaster Kmetzo, of Branford

She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, her favorite tv shows, "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune" and she loved her dogs.

Thelma Churchwell Feaster Kmetzo, of Branford, died Saturday June 9, 2018 at her home. She was the wife of the late Herbert Feaster and Andrew Kmetzo. Thelma was born October 19, 1922 in Kerhonkson, NY, daughter of the late Van Dyke and Lida Krom Churchwell. She worked as a bookkeeper for many business, until retiring from SARAH’s Cupboard.

She is survived by her children, Diane Feaster Celentano of Branford, and Jeffrey (Marion Smith) Feaster of Higganum, CT; her grandchildren, Robert E. (Lynne) Celentano, Tina Spadacenta, Chris Celentano and Rebecca Feaster; her great-grandchildren, Robert J. Celentano, Erica Celentano, Brianna Spadacenta and Nikolas Spadacenta; and her great-grandson Kyle Aronson.

She was predeceased by her brother, Clyde Churchwell. Thelma loved spending time with her grandchildren and family, whether it was at their camp in Old Lyme or the beach.

She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, her favorite tv shows, “Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune” and she loved her dogs, Roxy and Rudy.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.
