Passionate about spending time with family, he was a true warrior, even on his toughest days he would find the strength to get out of bed.

Thomas P. (Greene) Sobolewski, 52 passed away on December 13, 2021 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the loving husband to Tressine Cain Sobolewski, cherished father of Jacqueline Sobolewski and Nicholas Sobolewski. Son of Susan Bonyai Sobolewski & son in law of Jacob Cain. Brother of Jennifer Pepe (William), Michael Sobolewski (Katie) and Kari Sobolewski. He adored all of his nieces and nephews. They meant the world to him. He leaves special aunts and uncles behind.
He was truly passionate about spending quality time with his family. Tommy enjoyed the tradition of New Year’s Eve where he always cooked a large lobster dinner. His favorite place to visit was Florida, where he spent time with his grandmother. Tom was a true warrior, even on his toughest days he would find the strength to get out of bed, especially for “Camp Uncle” with Landon. He was so thankful for his sister and brothers in law that he shared a special relationship with. He was predeceased by his father Thomas P. Greene Jr, his uncle Douglas Bonyai, maternal grandmother Jane (Donald) Bonyai, mother in law Alberta Cain, and his cousins Adam Stevenson and David Bonyai. A special thank you to Joseph (Maura) Petrosino for the many years of friendship and to Bill Pepe for all the laughs, banter, and care. The family would like to thank Dr. Thomas Eisen for the care, patience and compassion over the years.
Friends and family may call Friday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. Burial will be private.
