Obituary: Victoria de Nicolo, 53, of Branford

A veterinary technician, she loved animals and rescued and raised several cats over the years. Surviving her is her faithful cat George.​​

Victoria de Nicolo of Branford passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Hospital for Special Care in Hartford after a long, brave, battle against rheumatoid arthritis and lung disease. She is survived by her daughter Gina de Nicolo of Branford, CT, her mother Diane Haroskewicz of Branford, CT, brother Charles Miller Jr. (Joanne) of Auburn, MA, step-sister Alana Haroskewicz of East Haven, CT and step-brother Alan Haroskewicz Jr. (Molly) of Watertown, CT and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Charles Miller and step-father Alan Haroskewicz.

Victoria was born in Norwalk on August 16, 1967. She was a veterinary technician at the Central Animal Hospital in New Haven until the onset of her illness. She loved animals and rescued and raised several cats over the years. Surviving her is her faithful cat George.
