Obituary: William (Bill) Joseph O'Brien, 80, of Branford

Bill was President and proud owner of Precision Metal Products, Inc. of Milford, CT since 1977.

William (Bill) Joseph O'Brien, longtime Branford resident, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2017, surrounded by his family at his home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford. Born and raised in New Haven, Ct, Bill entered the Airforce after high school.

He served as an Airforce police officer and was a member of the 313 Football Fliers. After his service, he completed his engineering degree at the University of New Haven. Bill was President and proud owner of Precision Metal Products, Inc. of Milford, CT since 1977.

He was an avid hunter and an accomplished multiple tournament winning Captain. Besides contributing to Wounded Warriors Project, he also participated in Take a Vet Fishing.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife Jean, his loving children and their spouses, Kellie and Myles, Michelle and Mike, and Sean and Michele. Also surviving are his dear grandchildren Connor, Dylan, Shea, Michael, Mason, Sophie, William, and Sean; along with his dear sister Katherine Pellegrino and brother in-law Louis.
