This Is The One Business Branford Residents Want Most

BRANFORD, CT — A total of nearly 200 responses have been made to Patch's question about which business resident would most like to see in Branford. The suggestions were varied but it appears Trader Joe's had the most requests but Whole Foods, Costco, and more family restaurants all received a lot of support.

Here is a sampling of the numerous suggestions from Branford residents. Whole foods or Trader Joe's!

"With Archie Moore’s on the way....nothing! All set!! Let’s stop building and preserve some of that small town feel."

"Bring more retail to the center. Our town center brings many families to enjoy our beautiful town and with the closing of some long standing businesses have brought more office spaces. What’s needed is more to keep our center alive with family, friends, and visitors."

"Trader Joe’s, Target, Costco, Old Navy maybe, healthy dining options that have drive thrus for parents with little ones. An indoor kid place of some sort for when you need out of the house."

"Panera, Target and Trader Joe’s."

"Bring Trader Joe's, Target, Christmas Tree Shop & Costco. Enough with the restaurants. Tired of going out of Town to shop."

"Nail salon... lol just kidding! We have about 40 already."
