Over 200 Expected at the Parkinson’s Disease Workshop on June 9th

The Branford Road Race invites you to attend the third annual Parkinson's Disease Workshop on Saturday, June 9th!

Branford, CT: The Branford Road Race invites you to attend the third annual Parkinson’s Disease Workshop on Saturday, June 9th! The workshop will be held at the Branford Fire Department (45 North Main Street, Branford) from 9 am to 1 pm. The workshop supports the Connecticut Advocates for Parkinson’s. The event will discuss cutting edge research and practical knowledge available today about Parkinson’s. The workshop features a variety of experts in the field including:

  • Sarah Buckingham, MD: Specializes in Neurology; Movement Disorder Specialist at Stamford Health Medical Group
  • Michelle Lavalle-Dagostine, MD: Specializes in Neurology; Movement Disorder Specialist at Hartford HealthCare Medical Group

The Parkinson’s Disease Workshop is in association with the Branford Road Race. The Father’s Day race takes place Sunday, June 17. Over 3,000 participants are expected to participate in the 5-Mile Race, 2-Mile Health Walk and 1-Mile Kids Fun Run. All race participants receive tech shirts and complimentary post-race brunch.
