A world famous singer, whose current tour has grossed nearly $300 million, decided to stop in for a visit Friday.

BRANFORD, CT — Pop superstar Ed Sheeran took time out from touring across the globe to stop at a popular spot in Branford this past Friday night.
Sheeran stopped in at Tommy Sullivan's Cafe located at 240 N. Main St. on Sept. 28. He stopped in around midnight with his fiance Cherry Seaborn, The Sound reports. He was with a wedding party that included about 40 people.
Café owner Maeve Sullivan told The Sound's Pam Johnson that Sheeran was "super nice. He was very polite and just kind of hung out with his friends, but he did walk around and if anybody wanted a picture he would do it right away."
