Popular Branford Deli Offers To Feed Kids For Free

BRANFORD, CT — Shoreline Prime Meats & Deli is doing its part to help others during these difficult times. The deli located at 103 North Main St. is offering free meals to school-age children.

"We are here to help during these stressful times! We are in this together and we can all do our part! We are offering free meals to the our school kids. Also for our seniors we have free delivery!
Please call ahead and your takeout order will be waiting for you. 203-208-1579!!," they shared on their Facebook page.

"One simple request, please do not to come to the store if you are feeling ill in any way, as we need to protect our staff, who are working so hard to bring you the best! Stay safe and stay well!

"Come on in and take a little of the stress away from the parents and the people that are watching the kids, and we’re taking that off their plate. We have a whole childrens menu for them, hot dogs, hamburgers, grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, Mac and Cheese — usually everything kids like to eat," Albert Carocci told WTNH News 8.

One person said, "Community minded in every way. Awesome response to a dire situation. Way to go Shoreline Prime."
