Popular Branford Restaurant to Have New Owners
The current owners have owned the restaurant for close to 10 years.

BRANFORD, CT – One of the best known restaurants in town is staying in business – but changing hands.
The Solevo family announced on their Facebook page that as of February 1st that they will be passing on their ownership of Campania Ristorante & Taverna to Lou and Trina Rossitto.

The Solevos said: “The Solevo family would like to than all of you for the almost 10 years of patronage and support here in Branford. It has been our great pleasure to host you all of you, but the time has come for us to pass Campania on to a new family!”
The Solevos message went to say: “At this time, the staff and menu will remain the same but we are eager to see the exciting new things Chef Lou will bring to the already vibrant Branford restaurant community!

“All gift certificates will be honored.”
The Solevo family has been tied to area restaurants for generations, including being owners of the popular Antonio’s of East Haven for 30 years.
In response to many good wishes on the Facebook message, Joe Solevo said he would be staying at the restaurant, working the bar area.
