Real-World Learning at CELC

Middle School program that engages and deepens learning to challenge students and nurture their highest potential.

Is your child a bright, creative thinker, yet losing interest in learning or becoming school avoidant?

CT Experiential Learning Center (CELC) Middle School has a lot to offer!

Our students come from a variety of towns throughout Connecticut, from families looking for a program that engages and deepens learning, where their children can flourish during these important and impactful 5th - 8th grade years.

Combining exceptional academics with hands-on and real-world learning experiences, CELC’s curriculum offers rich opportunities to grow and stretch, building on strengths that allow students to gain the confidence required to become resilient and capable of taking on life’s challenges.

CELC addresses not only the academic components that are essential for scholarship, but also the social and emotional aspects that are necessary for the young adolescent to truly thrive, rather than just survive these challenging yet pivotal years of growth.

Middle school becomes an exciting adventure when engaging academics are integrated with field experiences, within and beyond the classroom walls. The intention of CT Experiential Learning Center (CELC) is to challenge
students and nurture their highest potential. By providing a learning community based in the guiding principles of respect, integrity, responsibility and individual learning, the innate desire of all children to learn, grow, communicate, and create is honored.

Now accepting applications for 2016-17 academic year.
