A Rite Of Spring: Your Leaf Collection Schedule
Don't want to jinx it, but it feels like spring is right around the corner.

BRANFORD, CT — The always cheerful Sharon Heslin in the recycling department shared a bit of news that may be as welcome as spring for leaf-rakers.
The town's spring leaf collection will be held every other week, the weeks of March 30, April 13, April 27, and May 4.
Please be sure to have your leaves out before midnight of your collection day and remember that leaves must be placed in brown paper leaf bags or loose in garbage cans. Please remember to never place leaves in plastic bags. Lastly, leaves must be clean of all litter first, no rocks, soil or branches.

If curbside is not convenient or expeditious, leaves can always be brought to the compost site behind the Transfer Station at any time of the year. A Branford Residence sticker is required.
Please mark your calendars, and if you would, please share this information with your Branford family, friends, and neighbors, Sharon asked.
