'Roses for Seniors:' Spreading The Love, One Rose At A Time

​Hundreds of roses were given to seniors across Branford, a little Valentine's Day love from Cynthia's Flower Shop ​and the Orchard House.

BRANFORD, CT —Hundreds of roses were given to seniors across Branford, a little Valentine's Day love, provided by Cynthia’s Flower Shop and Orchard House Medical Adult Day Center.

Orchard House Fund Development Director Ken Engelman created the inaugural 'Roses for Seniors' program in partnership with Cynthia's "to bring a smile" to the elderly.

Roses were delivered to Artis Senior Living of Branford, Cedar Woods, Hearth at Gardenside, and Branford Hills Health Care Center. And roses were given to Orchard House members.

The non-profit organized the event and Branford florist Cynthia's provided the 450 roses.
