Staffing Shortage Delays Branford Recycling Pickup By 2 Days
Folks should still put their recycling bins out the night before the scheduled pickup day anyway, not a day or two later.
BRANFORD, CT — Because of staff shortages, the collection of recyclables will be delayed for up to two days this week, according to Branford's recycling assistant Sharon Heslin.
"I know this is causing issues and frustration throughout town," she said in an email to Patch., adding that residents' "patience and understanding" is appreciated.
Please put your materials to the curb the night before your scheduled collection day and the crews will collect them as quickly as possible, she said. Do not place them at the curb a day later.
