Still Some Branford Residents Without Power
At one point, more than 160,000 people in Connecticut were without power after this weekends major storm.

Most everyone, but not all, have their power back four days after heavy wind and rain hit the shoreline towns of Guilford, Branford and Madison. As of Thursday morning, 74 homes in Branford, 74 homes in Guilford and 31 homes in Madison still were without power.
Eversource reported that, statewide, there were 3,376 homes without the lights turned back on as of 9 a.m. Thursday morning, as crews worked feverishly to try and get all power restored.

Eversource spokesman Mitch Gross said: “We have restored more than 271,000 customers since the beginning of the storm. The vast majority there will be restored by noon on Thursday.”
