Save the Sound Light Lager is a "unique Helles lager, crafted with the finest floor-malted German malts and balanced with a hint of earthy Tettnanger hops," according to the brewery. It's described as a " bright and crisp beer with a slightly sweet flavor and a light mouthfeel – the ideal pairing for a warm summer day by the water."

“We are very excited to be embarking on this partnership with Stony Creek Brewery, whose leadership shares our passion for clean rivers and an abundant Sound,” Save the Sound president Curt Johnson said.

“It’s a unique way to get people all across the region engaged in protecting the Sound and its rivers, fighting climate change, saving endangered lands, and restoring ecosystems," he added. "We hope Save the Sound Light Lager inspires people to reflect on the clean water that was used to brew it, the air they’re breathing as they enjoy it, and the things we can do together to protect these resources.”

Stony Creek Brewery and Save the Sound encourage responsible drinking, it's noted in a news release, and proper disposal of all packaging to protect human and environmental health.
