Stop & Shop and Soundview Family YMCA Team Up to Educate Local Senior Citizens on Eating Right and Making Healthy Choices

The Branford, CT Stop & Shop teamed up with the Soundview Family YMCA to provide local Senior Citizens with a special education opportunity on nutrition and wellness. Stop & Shop Pharmacy Manager Le’Anne Santone provided tips on how to stay healthy during this flu season and the importance of staying hydrated. Soundview Family YMCA Health and Wellness Director, Aja Green, discussed the importance of reading nutrition labels and how to use recommended servings to the local seniors. The event is part of Stop & Shop’s continued commitment to their communities and their “Better Neighbors” initiative.
