Store Robbed At Knifepoint At I-95 Rest Area In Branford
Police are asking for help with identifying the suspect.
BRANFORD, CT — Police are asking for help with identifying a suspect who robbed a convenience store at an I-95 rest area in Branford at knifepoint early Saturday morning. The robbery occurred at about 12:50 a.m. on Sept. 7 at the Alltown Convenience Store on I-95 South in Branford.
The suspect, described as a light-skinned black male, jumped toward the cash register while showing a metallic knife, according to Connecticut State Police. The suspect took money from the register and left the store, police said.
