Summer has begun, and with it, people are looking for ways to cool off. A nutritious, low calorie treat is the Strawberry smoothie. It tastes good and only costs about ten dollars to make several servings. I’m not great in the kitchen and even I mastered the recipe.
What you’ll need:

1 cup ice cubes
1/3 cup skim (low fat) milk

6 oz yogurt (vanilla is recommended)
6 strawberries, stem removed
Put it all together in a blender and puree until smooth. That’s it. No, really, that’s it. The smoothie fills two thirds of two large dining glasses. (I’ve measured the finished product and it comes out to approximately 20 oz.
