Subway Fans in Branford Don't Worry

BRANFORD, CT – Fans of the Subway restaurant that got booted from its Commercial Parkway location to make room for the soon-to-open Chipotle Mexican Grill don’t worry.

A brand new Subway has opened a half-mile down the road, at the 66 North Main Street shopping plaza, close enough for loyal lunchtime fans of cheap sandwiches.

The old Subway location, along with Moonstar Chinese Restaurant and Branford Cigar & More, had to move to make room for the new Chipotle, which will include a sit-down restaurant and outdoor patio.

There also will be no drive-through window. The plans are for the restaurant to front facing Commercial Parkway rather than Route 1, which is where the old restaurants fronted.
