Sunday's Stony Creek Duck Race Supports Orchard House

It's just five bucks a duck in the race at Stony Creek Brewery, emceed by "The Caddyman" John Saville, in support of the adult day center.

BRANFORD, CT — Expected to move faster than the ones bobbing in the tub, the first ever Stony Creek Duck Race at the Stony Creek Brewery is set for Sunday. The event is a fundraiser for Orchard House Adult Medical Day Center.

For nearly four decades, Orchard House has served families in Branford and surrounding towns; caring for families and specializing in the care of loved ones with Alzheimer's, dementia, and a wide array of ailments where no one is ever judged or turned away.

"The Caddyman" John Saville will be emceeing. Donations start at $5 per duck with 1,000 ducks available, although all donations are welcome.

The event, sponsored in part by Stony Creek Brewery, begins at 1 p.m. with the duck drop at 3 p.m. at the brewery's 5 Indian Neck Ave., location.
