Town Hiring Plow Truck Drivers For Winter Season, CDL Preferred But Not Required, $30 Hourly Rate

BRANFORD, CT — The town is hiring seasonal snow removal staff for the 2026–2027 winter season.

"If you’re dependable, don’t mind early mornings or late nights, and want to earn extra income close to home, we’d love to have you on the team," the town wrote on Facebook.

Needed are snow plow drivers, and while drivers with CDL licenses are preferred, "some non-CDL may be considered," the town said.

The pay rate is $30.76 an hour. Apply here.

Drivers will be on-call during storms, nights, weekends and holidays, it's noted.

"When the snow falls, you’ll be the reason residents, first responders and school buses can get where they need to go," the town said.
