United Methodist Church To Hold Drive-Thru Live Nativity Story

BRANFORD, CT — The United Methodist Church in Branford is presenting a free, drive-thru live nativity story Dec. 11 and Dec. 12.

The event features "scenes leading up to the birth of Jesus Christ as Mary and Joseph travel to Bethlehem," a news release from the church reads. "Witness the shepherds keeping watch over their flocks, the Wise Men following the Star, and the glorious birth of Jesus Christ."

Described as a family-friendly event, it's free and open to the public in the parking lot of the United Methodist Church, 811 East Main St., Branford on Dec. 11 and Dec. 12

The community is invited to drive through the scenes between 2 and 4 p.m. and can tune in on radio "to hear tradition Christmas carols that retell the nativity story."
