Updates Provided For Nearly Completed Branford Train Station
Three years of work is nearly finished on the station; find out what to expect and what's left to be done.

After three years of work, the Branford Train Station redo is nearly complete, according to the Branford Eagle.
Once finished, citizens will find a station with exciting new features like two-way train travel, the Branford Eagle reported. The project has been in the works since May 2013.
Much of the work left involves installation of elevators, which were manufactured in Europe and have experienced shipping delays, as reported by the Branford Eagle. Other issues include incompatibility of the Train Approach Messaging System (TAMS), for which a new one should arrive in June, and a need for a fence to be installed on top of the retaining wall on the north side.
