Video: Branford Firefighters, Coast Guard Respond To Sinking Boat Saturday Afternoon
According to the fire department, there were seven people aboard the sinking craft, but nearby boaters "assisted the occupants to safety."

BRANFORD, CT — Saturday afternoon just after 1 p.m., along with the U.S. Coast Guard, the Branford Fire Department's Marine Units 2 and 5 responded to a sinking boat in Branford Harbor with "seven souls aboard," the department noted on social media.
According to the fire department, "Nearby mariners assisted the occupants to safety while Seatow initiated salvage operations."
All of the occupants were evaluated by Branford Fire Department paramedics. No injuries were reported.
