Walsh Intermediate School Performing Arts will present Doctor Dolittle March 27 and 28.

A musical experience for the whole family!

Walsh Intermediate School Performing Arts will present Doctor Dolittle March 27 and 28. With book, music and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, this family musical is based on The Story of Doctor Dolittle by Hugh Lofting and the 1967 film starring Rex Harrison. This classic story tells the wacky tale of a kind Doctor who can talk to animals. The show follows Doctor Dolittle as he is wrongly accused of murder and takes the audience on a journey to the far corners of the world as Dolittle continues with his search for the Great Pink Sea Snail--the oldest and wisest of the creatures on earth. This year’s production showcases a number of veteran 8th graders and features Adam Jackson as Doctor Dolittle.

A good time is sure to be had by all, and maybe you, too, can talk to the animals!

Showtimes are Friday, March 27 at 7:30 and Saturday, March 28 at 3:00. For tickets, call 203-418-PLAY (7529). All tickets are $10.
