'Week Of The Young Child' Fair On The Town Green Set For April 9

BRANFORD, CT — As a way to celebrate the "Week of the Young Child," the Branford Police Department partners with the Community Dining Room and 20 shoreline early childhood education centers and child care providers for the Early Childhood Education Fair on April 9.

The event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Town Green, begins earlier with a free 9 a.m. pancake breakfast. The fair will feature activities for families including face painting, a dance party, scavenger hunt activities and will have costumed characters.

Branford Police will be there for a stuff-a-cruiser event to help support the Community Dining Room with nonperishable foods.
