BRANFORD, CT — The town is distributing wrapping paper recycling bags, similar to a leaf bag with a green holiday sticker placed on it, to schools, libraries and town departments.

"We are beyond thrilled this has been such a success for our town’s recycling and children are equally excited doing their share," said Sharon Heslin.

The idea is to recycle wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift boxes and cards, without glitter. Bows, ribbon or Mylar plastic-like wrapping materials cannot be recycled.
