Wildly Successful 'Braffle' Is Back For Its 3rd Year, Branford
Branford Rotary's Braffle: 50 restaurants, 10 absurd prizes, 1 great cause: Branford Counseling & Community Services' Basic Needs program.

BRANFORD, CT —Braffle is back! After selling out two consecutive years, Braffle, Branford Rotary’s Outrageous Restaurant Raffle, returns for 2023. The Absurd Grand Prize winner will get $100 gift cards to each of 50 Branford restaurants.
The "ridiculous second prize" wins $50 cards to all 50. And there are eight more prizes.

Most of the proceeds go to the Branford Counseling & Community Services’ Basic Needs program, which helps families in need with food, rent, and utilities. In other words, every entry purchased is a win for Branford.
With only 2,500 tickets available this year, the 3rd annual Braffle is sure to sell out again, so don’t wait to get in.

“We love having this fun event that has captured so much interest as well as raising money for our neighbors who could use a little help” Branford Rotary President Sandy Carter said. “Imagine being able to eat out at a different Branford restaurant every week of the year as a first or
second prize winner.”
The raffle drawing will be held at 6 p.m. on May 16, live-streamed at Braffle.org and on the Branford Rotary’s Facebook page.
In addition to the grand and second prizes, Braffle also has third to 10th place prizes — a $100 gift
cards to use at the restaurant of your choice.
“With the cost of food, rent and utilities soaring, the demand on our Basic Needs program is staggering. The need is greater than in previous years, but through the generosity of the Branford community and the Rotary Club, we will meet these challenges," Branford Counseling & Community Services Executive Director Peter Cimino said.

The Branford Rotary Club’s most recent Braffle contributed more than $30,000 to the town’s Basic Needs program, with an additional $15,000 going to other local, regional, and international initiatives that Branford Rotary supports.
Since Braffle’s inception in 2020, it has contributed more than $100,000 to Branford residents in need while also supporting local restaurants.
