Woman Crashes Car Into Branford Business: UPDATE
The accident occurred early Wednesday.

BRANFORD, CT — An 82-year-old Branford woman crashed her car into the front of a local business Wednesday morning, police said. At 7 a.m. Mary DeVita, of Harbor Street crashed her vehicle into the front entrance of Quest Laboratory at 144 North Main St..
Police said no one was injured. The business will remain closed for the rest of the week, NBC Connecticut reports. Police say DeVita got confused while parking her vehicle.
Fortunately, the business had not yet opened but three employees were inside at the time of the accident, NBC Connecticut reports. Bricks and glass pieces did pile up in the waiting room area, according to the report.

There are two Quest locations nearby, one in East Haven and one in Guilford.
