Yale-New Haven Health System Closing Clinics in East Haven and Branford

Yale-New Haven Health System is closing down a clinic at 317 Foxon Road in East Haven and one at 84 North Main Street in Branford due to cuts in state funding, reports the New Haven Register.

The cuts will impact 31 jobs, which officials are hoping to avoid layoffs. The closings will save $1 million, the Register reports.

Patients of those two clinics can use other facilities in Hamden, New Haven and North Haven.

The East Haven based clinic offered urgent care and occupational health services, while the Branford facility offered occupational health and physical therapy.
