Yale-New Haven Health System Closing Clinics in East Haven and Branford

The move impacts 31 employees and will result in savings of about $1 million.

Yale-New Haven Health System is closing down a clinic at 317 Foxon Road in East Haven and one at 84 North Main Street in Branford due to cuts in state funding, reports the New Haven Register.

The cuts will impact 31 jobs, which officials are hoping to avoid layoffs. The closings will save $1 million, the Register reports.

Patients of those two clinics can use other facilities in Hamden, New Haven and North Haven.
