17 Bridgeport Officers Face Discipline After Party Incident

Up to nine of the officers may be fired.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A total of 17 Bridgeport Police officers are set to be disciplined and up to nine may be fired after they responded to a 2017 Colorado Avenue party.

Police were dispatched to a noise complaint and eventually 45 officers responded after an officer signaled on his radio that an officer needed help, according to the Connecticut Post.

A 400-page Internal Affairs report hasn't been made public yet. The Police Commission will be looking into the allegations against each officer.
