18-Year-Old Killed In Bridgeport Shooting: Report

The teen was shot in the head, according to a report.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An 18-year-old was shot in the head and killed Saturday afternoon in Bridgeport, according to a report in the Connecticut Post.

The teen, Gregory Francilme, was shot while he was outside the rear entrance of an apartment complex just before 2 p.m. He was taken to St. Vincent's hospital where he died from his injuries. The Post reported that he died just two days before his 19th birthday.

A second victim injured in the shooting was expected to survive.

A suspect, arrested late Saturday in an unrelated robbery, is reportedly in custody in Waterbury.
