2 Winning CT Lottery Tickets Sold In Bridgeport

The lucky winners claimed their tickets last week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Two winning Connecticut Lottery tickets, both of which had been sold in Bridgeport stores, were claimed last week, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, an unnamed Easton resident claimed a winning LUCKY FOR LIFE ticket worth $25,000 a year for life that the person bought at Uptown News & Variety on Main Street.

Also, on Friday, Maria M. of Ansonia claimed a 10X Cash 16th Edition ticket worth $10,000 that she bought at Pembroke Variety on Pembroke Street.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The 10X Cash game, which costs $10 per ticket, began in May 2022, and as of Monday, 76 grand prizes of $10,000 remained unclaimed. More than 5.2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.

As for the LUCKY FOR LIFE game, the grand prize is $365,000 per year for life, and to win it, a player must match five numbers and the Lucky Ball. Odds of reaching that feat are 1 in 30,821,472.

To win $25,000 a year for life, a player must match five numbers without also matching the Lucky Ball. The odds of doing that are 1 in 1,813,028, according to lottery officials.
