Man, 20, Shot Multiple Times in Bridgeport Drove Himself to Hospital: Police

Police are seeking information on the shooting.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in the city's west side Friday morning, according to Capt. Brian Fitzgerald.

The man was shot multiple times at the intersection of Denver Avenue and Denver Court near St. Peter's Church at 3 a.m., Fitzgerald said. The victim drove himself to Bridgeport Hospital in his car for treatment.

Police say the victim's condition is unknown after he underwent surgery Friday morning. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call Bridgeport Police at 203-576-TIPS.
