4 Bridgeport Men Indicted For 4 Murders: Feds

Four Bridgeport men accused of being part of a gang have been indicted in connection with drug dealing, racketeering, and four murders.

BRDIDGPORT, CT — Four Bridgeport men have been indicted in connection drug dealing, racketeering, and four murders, according to a statement from prosecutors. Keishawn Donald, 19; Trevon Wright, aka "Tre," 19; Kyran Dangerfield, 24; and Eric Hayes, aka "Heavyweight Champ," 24, were all indicted in the case.

A joint investigation between federal and local police was conducted into members of Bridgeport's "East End gang."

The indictment alleges that the East End gang dealt heroin, crack cocaine, marijuana, and Percocet pills and committed murder and other violent acts against rival gang members and other people.

East End members celebrated their crimes on Facebook and YouTube, and threatened potential witnesses to protect gang members, according to prosecutors.

In part, the indictment alleges that in 2018 Donald shot and killed Eric Heard, aka "Fetti," a member of the GHB/Hotz gang.

Wright is accused of shooting and attempting to kill Marquis Isreal, aka “Garf” or “Gbaby,” a member of the O.N.E. gang in 2019.

In January 2020, Dangerfield and "JW," an East End gang member who has since died, are accused of shooting and killing Myreke Kenion and shooting and attempting to kill D’Andre Brown, members of the GHB/Hotz gang.

If convicted, Donald, Wright, and Dangerfield face a maximum prison term of life, and Hayes faces a maximum term of imprisonment of 20 years.

"This ongoing investigation is methodically getting to the roots of much of the violent activity Bridgeport has experienced during the last few years," U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John Durham said in a statement. "The allegations in this indictment, combined with charges announced in previous indictments, detail numerous, senseless violent acts committed by members and associates of warring street gangs."
