4 People Temporarily Displaced After Bridgeport Fire

The fire was reported over the weekend at a building on North Avenue.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Firefighters extinguished a second-floor fire Sunday morning in a building at 1703 North Ave. in Bridgeport, according to fire officials.

No injuries were reported in the fire, which was called in at the three-story, wood-frame structure just after 10 a.m.

Four people were temporarily displaced by the fire, and they are being assisted by the Red Cross.
