BRIDGEPORT, CT — Firefighters in Bridgeport on Wednesday extinguished a structure fire in the 140 block of Alice Street, according to authorities.
No injuries were reported in the 11:30 a.m. blaze.
"Fire companies arrived to find a fire in the kitchen which was quickly extinguished," wrote Deputy Chief Mark Cody in a statement.
The Bridgeport Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
