BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Hampton resident is $17,777 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Friday, the person claimed a winning 777 ticket that was bought at Pam's Variety Store on Madison Avenue.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.
The game, which has ended, cost $2 per ticket. It began in January, and had three grand prizes of $17,777, which have all been claimed.
More than 1.2 million game tickets were printed, and the overall odds of winning were 1 in 3.88.
