Man Injured In Knife Assault In Bridgeport: Police

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man suffered a laceration to the neck on Sunday when he was the victim of a stabbing in Bridgeport, according to police.

The incident was reported at about 8:45 a.m., and the injury is not considered to be a threat to his life, police said.

The assault occurred in the area of Donald Court and Eckart Street, and the victim told police that he was stabbed by a woman. Additional details were not disclosed.

Bridgeport police are investigating the incident, but no arrests have been made.
