BRIDGEPORT, CT — A person had to be rescued by ground ladder from a third-floor porch in a two-alarm fire Sunday on Lincoln Avenue in Bridgeport, according to fire officials.
No injuries were reported in the 10 p.m. fire, but the rescued person was taken to a local hospital for evaluation, officials said.
Ten people — eight adults and two children — have been displaced by the blaze, and the American Red Cross is assisting them.
Additional details about the fire were not disclosed, but the Bridgeport Fire Marshal's Office is investigating its cause.
