BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $30,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Thursday, the person claimed a winning 3X THE CASH 13TH EDITION ticket that was bought at Nunes Convenience Store on Iranistan Avenue.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners' names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.
The game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in May, and as of Friday, nine grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.
More than 5.2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.75.
