• Bridgeport man charged in 2 shootings hours apart at same intersection, police say (ctpost.com) — Bridgeport police say a 29-year-old city resident has been arrested in connection with two August 1 shootings at Boston and Seaview avenues on the East Side, where no one was hurt. Investigators seized a loaded revolver during his August 12 arrest and plan ballistic tests to see if it's tied to other crimes, with more arrests possible.
