BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $200,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
On Thursday, the person claimed a winning 100X the cash ticket that was bought at Delicious Express Market on Maplewood Avenue.
The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners' names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.
The game, which ended recently, had four grand prizes of $200,000, all of which were claimed.
More than 2.5 million game tickets had been printed, and the overall odds of winning were 1 in 3.54.
