BRIDGEPORT, CT — A pedestrian was injured Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle on State Street, according to police. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
The incident occurred at about 11:30 p.m. in the 700 block of State Street.
Bridgeport police said that the victim is being treated at St. Vincent's Medical Center for unknown injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
