BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police arrested two adults and charged two juveniles following a street fight Friday afternoon on the city's East Side, according to authorities.
Officers responded around 12:30 p.m. to a fight involving two juveniles on Noble Avenue near Maple Street. During the investigation, adults from the porch of a nearby residence approached the officers, and one threatened them, according to police.
Juan Carlos-Torres, 38, of Bridgeport, was charged with second-degree threatening, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. He was released after posting bond on bail of $5,000.
Lawrence Marrow, 22, of Bridgeport, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest. Marrow was released on a $500 bond.
The 16-year-old involved in the fight was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, police said.
Police also arrested the 17-year-old involved in the fight. He was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief after police said the juvenile repeatedly threw a basketball at a police car, causing damage. The juvenile also was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.
Both juveniles were issued summonses and released to adults who were not involved in the incident, police said.
